I’m going
to do “Film Practice Activity” acting this scene from the TV series “Monk”
together with my classmate and activity partner Özge during the next Listening and Pronunciation session. I’ve chosen this video as
I find it extremely funny.
The scene
is based on an obsession of a former police officer just like the case in the
whole series. His captain is interviewed on-line at that moment and just as he
answered the question, he finds out there are unidentified words on the screen.
Mr Monk says he fixed the keyboard because it was mixed up in the row “QWERTY”
and adds that he put all the characters off and laid them in alphabetical
order. He developed a funny song to make people remember the new keyboard
order: “A is Q and B is W…” In the end, he is condemned harshly but we cannot
see what is written by Captain Stottlemeyer on the screen.

Monk is a former American police officer. Since his birth he has been obsessive
with lots of things but after the tragic death of his wife he gets extremely
obsessed. The case leads him to be fired but thanks to his being able to solve
all the cases wisely he gets a position as a special detective in the same
department. The series are based on many cases which are solved by Mr Monk and
his funny events related to the obsessions.

ReplyDeleteI like your subject which you chose because I was there while you were doing film practice activity in other lesson so I enjoy it.Generally, your reflection is good but I think you can improve yourself a little bit. For example, you can give a place to your own thoughts,your own comments etc.. Also, you paid attention to punctuation and this is good, I think. Anyway, I want to summarize. You are good at writing and I like it. Continue! :)
